Irritation or inflammation of tendon origins on the outside or inside of the elbow - so-called tennis elbow (outside) or golfer's elbow (inside) - are frequent causes of pain and restricted movement. In addition, various other diseases of the soft tissues or the bones and structures of the joint can cause complaints.

Magnetic resonance imaging assesses the elbow joint and the surrounding soft tissues (muscles, tendons, ligaments, nerves). The MRI examination is usually performed in the prone position (if not possible, then alternatively in the supine position) and takes about 20 minutes.
It allows a precise diagnosis of the causes of your symptoms. Your doctor can then initiate targeted therapy.

The MRI examinations of the elbow at ARISTRA are continuously developed in cooperation with internationally recognised experts in musculoskeletal (MSK) imaging. This means the images can be taken on-site using the most modern imaging technology and the latest scientific knowledge. Our musculoskeletal specialists evaluate your images.
