Biography

Prof. Dr. med. Lorenz Jäger is a specialist in diagnostic radiology and an expert in ENT radiology, oncological radiology, musculoskeletal radiology and neuroradiology.

After studying human medicine at the University of Würzburg and obtaining a doctorate in pathology, Prof. Lorenz Jäger worked at the University of Würzburg (physiology), the University of Bonn and the LMU Munich (radiology). At the latter, he was head of student training and ENT radiology.

This was followed in 2006 by specialist training, habilitation and appointment as a private lecturer with subsequent teaching at LMU Munich. In the same year, he set up his practice.
With guest professorships at Zhongnan Hospital at Wuhan University from 2018 to 2021 and at Zhanjiakou Northern University since 2018, he has extended his activities to China. He obtained his licence to practise there and registered as a radiologist in Hubei Province in 2019.

Prof. Dr. med. Lorenz Jäger is also the author and co-author of 70 scientific articles and 14 book contributions, and 130 scientific lectures, primarily in MRI, CT and oncological radiology. He is also a reviewer for twelve German and international scientific medical journals. These cover the subject areas of radiology, neurology, psychiatry, psychology, dentistry and the field of ear, nose and throat.
