Dr. med. Michael Willert is a specialist in radiology and an expert in musculoskeletal diagnostics and magnetic resonance imaging.
After studying human medicine in Giessen and Munich, including clinical stays abroad in Bangkok, New York, and London, Michael Willert, MD, worked as a postgraduate trainee in the Department of Gastroenterology and Endocrinology at Grosshadern University Hospital. In 2016 he followed up with a doctorate at the Institute of Molecular Immunology at the Technical University of Munich. In parallel, he furthered his training as a radiology specialist at the University Hospital Hamburg Eppendorf and the Munich Bogenhausen Clinic.
Dr Willert has been working as a radiology specialist since 2020. Initially at the Bogenhausen Clinic in Munich, then as a salaried radiology doctor in the DIE RADIOLOGIE group practice in Munich. In 2021, he received the European Diploma in Radiology (EDiR). For ARISTRA, he is active in teleradiology.
