Dr. med. Michael Willert specialises in diagnostic radiology and specialises in diagnosing the musculoskeletal system. He also specialises in multi-parametric MRI of the prostate and oncological imaging.
Dr Willert studied human medicine at the JLU Giessen and TU Munich. After spending his internship year abroad in Bangkok, New York and London, he passed his second state examination at the Technical University of Munich. He received his licence to practise medicine in December 2012. Dr Willert took his further training as a radiologist at the University Medical Centre Hamburg-Eppendorf and Munich’s Bogenhausen Hospital. After being recognised as a specialist and obtaining the European Diploma in Diagnostic Radiology (EDIR), he switched his career to the outpatient sector.
He was recognised as an expert in musculoskeletal diagnostics as part of the DGMSR certification programme.
Dr Willert completed his doctorate at the Institute of Molecular Immunology at the Technical University of Munich (supervisor Prof Dr Florian Greten).
