Biography

Marcel Sokolowski is a specialist in radiology and an expert in cardiovascular imaging, especially magnetic resonance imaging of the heart.
He worked for many years at the Institute for Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology at Cologne University Hospital, most recently as a functional senior physician. During this time, he acquired a broad knowledge of diagnosing diseases of all organ systems and image-based therapies.

He regularly represented the radiology institute in interdisciplinary tumour conferences at the Centre for Integrated Oncology Aachen Bonn Cologne Düsseldorf (CIO), which was awarded the title "Oncological Excellence Centre" by the German Cancer Aid.
He is also a member of the German Radiological Society, the AG Herz- und Gefäßdiagnostik and the AG Muskuloskelettale Radiologie. He also contributed to several international publications in radiology.
