Biography

As founder and Managing Director, Michael Ho, MD, is responsible for managing our company and taking care of the smooth running of all operational processes. As the person responsible for the overall success of ARISTRA, he is in charge of all business areas.

After graduating from high school, Dr. med. Michael Ho first studied Business Studies at the London Metropolitan University and then Business Administration at the University of Mannheim. After a stay abroad at Cardiff University Medical School in the UK, he completed his studies in human medicine at the Westphalian Wilhelm University of Münster.

From 2011 to 2013, Dr Michael Ho worked as a research assistant in the Department of Neuroradiology at Heidelberg University Hospital. He then worked as an assistant physician in the Department of Radiology and Neuroradiology at the Klinikum Dortmund. In 2015, Dr Michael Ho moved to the Institute for Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology at the University Hospital Zurich as a research associate and assistant physician. He remained there until he founded NEURYON AG in 2018.

He completed his doctorate on the topic of “Acutely ruptured intracranial aneurysms: clinical and angiographic results in the long-term course after stent-assisted coiling with Neuroform stent” at the Institute for Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology and Neuroradiology at the Medical Faculty of the University of Duisburg-Essen.

In addition, Michael Ho, MD, is the first author of at least six medline-listed original papers and several review articles, also medline-listed. He has also given several scientific presentations at the annual meetings of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), the German Society for Neurorehabilitation e.V. (DGNR) and the Swiss Society for Radiology (SGR) between 2015 and 2017.

Dr Michael Ho is also a continuing education instructor for nerve sonography (DEGUM certificate for nerve sonography). He was an SGR course leader in 2017 and 2018.
