Biography

Dr. med. Christian von Kölln is a certified specialist in internal medicine and an expert in abdominal and vascular duplex sonography.

After studying at the Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich and the Technical University in Munich, he worked as a sub-assistant at the Cantonal Hospital in St. Gallen (Switzerland) in the Clinic for General, Visceral, Vascular and Thoracic Surgery.

Between 2012 and 2018, he researched at the Technical University of Munich in circulatory monitoring in intensive care medicine. He finished his doctorate in 2018 on the topic of transpulmonary thermodilution.

He completed his specialist training at Herz-Jesu-Krankenhaus Münster, where he received internal medicine training for general internal medicine, nephrology, cardiology, oncology, palliative medicine and diabetology. His focus was on gastroenterology, emergency and intensive care medicine.

He also acquired the additional title of emergency medicine specialist and worked as an emergency doctor in the district of Warendorf.

After his specialist examination, he was the responsible specialist for internal medicine in the central emergency room of Herz-Jesu-Krankenhaus.
