Beschwerden an der Hüfte lassen sich in der körperlichen Untersuchung häufig nicht eindeutig einer Ursache zuzuordnen. Aus diesem Grund ist eine MRT mit den neusten technischen Parametern oft entscheidend für die Einleitung einer geeigneten Therapie.
Die verschiedenen Symptome bei Hüfterkrankungen geben oft Hinweise auf die Ursache. Das häufigste Symptom sind allerdings Schmerzen. Bei Schmerzen in der Hüfte kommen eine ganze Reihe unterschiedlicher Grunderkrankungen in Betracht.
Darunter ist der altersbedingte Gelenksverschleiß mit Abnutzung des Gelenkknorpels, die sogenannte Coxarthrose mit am häufigsten.
Die Untersuchung wird in Rückenlage durchgeführt und dauert in der Regel 20 Minuten.
